Signal Words:
while, when, as long as, always
Positive:
was/were + 1st verb form + ing
I was doing my homework when my dad came home.

Negative:
wasn't/weren't + 1st verb form + ing
They weren't watching TV when I came home.

He wasn't buying cigarettes during last month.

It wasn't snowing all day yesterday.
